The overall objective is contribution to sustainable environmental development in the cross-border area between Kosovo and Montenegro by improvement of protection and management of natural resources
The specific objective is improvement of protection and management of natural water resources in Gjakova and BijeloPolje municipalities.
Target Group: Public Water Enterprises in the municipality of Gjakova (Kosovo) and the municipality of Bjelo Polje (Montenegro).
Final Beneficiaries: are the residents in cross-border areas and the population of Kosovo and Montenegro,
Results:
• Protection and management of natural water resources in Gjakova and Bjelo Polje,
• Increasing the knowledge and awareness of the population in Gjakova and Bjelo Polje on the need and importance of preserving water sources
• Strengthening of capacities and cooperation between water companies in Gjakovë and Bjelo,
